He says, “It took a minute to start now his heads’ in the game.”  He is Tsunami Redd, a hip-hop artist Chicago born and raised.  His distinctive flow of catching the beat and free verses sets him apart from other rappers. He thinks of his music as hustle music where he speaks about manifesting your future.  For him it’s about getting to the bag or working on a craft you can pursue with passion and purpose, whether it’s a 9-5 or a hustle.

Tsunami Redd says when he was younger there was always different music playing like old schoolhouse and r&b, hip hop and eighties music.  So, he is no stranger to good music.  In 2023 he met his coworker and started hanging in his basement studio along with one of his classmates.  This is where he developed his skills and found his sound. He remembers one day going into the booth and after listening to himself he knew he was ready.  Shortly after that he went into a professional studio and recorded “TRAPPIN AIN’T DEAD” as his debut song.  It put everyone on notice that he belongs in the rap game.  Tsunami followed his first single up with “MR. SHOW IT (POP YOU SH*T)”.  He has since been featured on radio stations and has had the opportunity to showcase his energetic and animated style on the stage where he is a Mr. Show It. 

He believes that his experiences in 2025 have made him stronger.  He knows if you want something you can’t wait for it you have to put yourself in the rooms.  Also, you have to learn how to pivot because every room isn't for you.  Tsunami says most of all he has learned to have fun and let his music speak for itself. 

Tsunami is very excited about his 2026 project which is a full representation of him as an artist.  The first single off of the project is “BUGG OUT DEN” which will be released in March.  It speaks to audiences that you can do whatever you want just have fun doing.  Tsunami says he looks forward to getting back out there and promoting his new project and performing whenever he can.
